My Decks

Some of the side decks are unfinished, but these are the decks I am most proud of

These are all competitively viable with some unique tech cards

Chaos Warriors

This is my build of chaos warriors. Chaos warriors is considered by many to be one of the best decks in Goat Format. My list is relatively standard but there are a few key changes. First of all, I am playing Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke in the main deck. Without it, chaos warriors really struggle against gravekeeper's spy. I am playing Tsukuyomi since the deck can sometimes have issues against goat control and outing thousand eyes restrict. It is also a good card for getting over Zaborg, a card which is very popular right now, or other cards with low defense. Considering it also has synergy with nobleman of cross out, I think it is worthwhile to play.

Next, I am playing one copy of scapegoat. Most decks don't expect it, since most warrior decks do not play scapegoat. It is a good way to stop cards like return from a different dimension that otherwise might end the game quickly. it is also a good way to stall if you end up breaking with chaos cards

Finally, I am playing two copies of compulsory evacuation device and no copies of trap dustshoot. This is something I am still deciding on, but I think trap dustshoot is not as good as many people make it out to be. Late game, it is almost always a total brick, and mid game it often is not usable either. It is good against chaos turbo, but the chance you might have a totally dead card by mid game is something that is a big downside. Compulsory evacuation device is always live, and has good synergy with cards like Kycoo. It can send chaos cards back to the hand and then Kycoo can prevent them from being summoned. It is also a good card against any fusion monsters or other high attack cards like monarchs that otherwise might be difficult for you to attack over. Once they are in the hand, they are usually dead cards and you can win before they can be summoned again.

I am still deciding on the extra deck, but most of the cards in the extra deck were picked to counter chaos turbo, reasoning gate, or other warrior decks. You also have cyber stein and Mobius in case your opponent is trying to stall.

You could still certainly make the case for playing dustshoot, and I am not totally sure on a few of the cards in the deck, but in general, I think it is a good deck. Instead of playing so many of the Agro cards and essentially staking it all on the early game, this build has the potential to last a bit longer than other warrior lists.

Dragun Turbo

This is my dragun turbo list. It is fairly self-explanatory. You use fusilier and swift Gaia to use as tribute for metamorphosis, and then lock them down with Royal decree. There are many decks in the format that have no outs to Royal decree and king dragun at the same time.

The other cards in the deck are staples like Kycoo, A small warrior engine for flip hate, and shining angel and BLS. BLS is ultimately too good not to play in a deck that already can somewhat support it. I struggled deciding what recruiter to pick, since I know I needed a recruiter to maintain field presence, but there aren't many good options in my deck. I had either giant rat or Mystic tomato before but neither had many good targets. I ended up deciding on shining angel mainly since it gets out DD warrior lady, but primarily as a way to get lights in the graveyard for BLS. It can also get out jowgen to stop against combo decks, which is nice.

Swift Gaia is in general an underrated card. Very few people expect it, and very few people play it. It is sometimes a brick, but it is very easy for it to not become a brick as the game state progresses. I am debating putting in a third gaia instead of a third fusilier but that remains to be seen.

The side deck is fairly standard. I am playing dustshoot mainly since if the opponent has BLS or tribe, either can out dragun and completely ruin your win condition. If you can prevent these cards from showing up, and if you know they don't have torrential or mirror force, very often you just win by default. And if you don't win through dragun you have a small warrior package and Kycoo that can often just win on its own.

The main issue with this deck is that Fusilier and metamorphosis are relatively useless cards on their own. You can use metamorphosis on scapegoat, but then the problem arises that you don't have many good ways of looping the restrict. that was why I originally considered playing Mystic tomato with sangan and sinister serpent, and maybe a magician of faith and tsukuyomi. However I determined it was a bit too slow.

While this deck is not the most conventional, I still think it is very underrated and can definitely win some games against the top decks.

Cold Wave Anti-Control

This is my coldwave anti-control deck. As the name implies, it is totally based around using coldwave and Mobius to Stop your opponent from setting up their control strategies.

Cold wave on its own isn't a good card, but when you play three of it, two compulsory evaluation device, and three Mobius, your deck is essentially based around it. As a result, you can very often resolve Mobius, pop two without them being able to respond, and chain compulse so they can't swing the tempo with cards like magician of faith.

While cold wave is often not a good card in most decks, I tried to show that if you build your deck around it, it can be quite good. Morphing jar and cyber jar are both used in the deck since coldwave essentially shuts down a ton of the advantage your opponent gets while simultaneously giving you advantage.

Exiled force is in the main deck since this deck and struggle with thousand eyes restrict. The rest of the main deck is fairly self-explanatory, it is either Staples, cards that can be fetched by tomato, or cards to maintain field presence so you can tribute off for Mobius.
